Treehouse of Horror III Clown Without Pity
This is the Simpsons special horror episode showed every year on TV for Halloween. The entire chapter is divided into three little stories.
In the first one, the story starts showing many children in the Simpsons’ house. They’re Bart and Lisa friends. The Simpsons’ family and the children are there to celebrate the Halloween night. Marge is supposed to explain a story in the dark with different foods to symbolize the organs of a monster. Otherwise, it isn’t possible because Homer have eaten all of them.
For this reason Lisa starts explaining a horror story called “Clown without pity”.
It’s Bart’s birthday. Lisa, Marge and the grandpa give Bart their gifts for the party. When it’s Homer’s turn, he realises that he hasn’t got any presents.
Then, he goes very quickly outside to buy to Bart a nice present. Homer enters to a shop called “The evil shop”. Although the shop assistant says to him that the Krusty doll (a TV clown) he wants to buy is under an evil spell, Homer buys it persuaded by the ice cream which was involved in the purchase.
The Krusty doll is interactive and can say some phrases when pulling the rope it has in its back. At the beginning everything is normal, and Bart enjoyed listening to the doll. Nevertheless, as soon as Homer takes Krusty into his hands, the doll starts to act like a person. It become evil and tries to kill Homer, but only when he is alone and nobody except Homer can see it. Homer gets scared of the doll. When he is alone, the Krusty doll always tries to kill him, so one day, Homer takes a sack and he put the doll inside. After that, he throws the sack into a hole. Although Homer thinks he is free, the doll appears trying to kill him once again.
That’s when Marge sees it and phones to the company for a professional to solve the problem. When that professional arrives, he realises that the doll is activated with the evil mode. Finally, he changes the button into the good one and since then, Krusty starts to obey Homer and to make all his tasks.
